Giggles

So far this year has brought it's fair share of challenges but God is good and has seen us through every step of the way. At the end of January, Eli started teething. There is still no visible tooth but the drool and finger sucking says it all. He seems to be handling this okay but changed his routine and now only takes 45 minute naps. Leigh Ann is doing her best to keep up with Eli as he is a baby that needs to be in almost constant motion when he is awake.

February brought the second of Jeff's surgeries. It was the biggest one and he is still battling fatigue and trying to recuperate. Hopefully, this will be the last time that they have to open him up. The next surgery will be very minor compared to these last two and will mark the end of an era in Jeff's health history.

Eli learned to laugh this month. It is a delightful sound and one we cannot get enough of. He is amused by many things and often just laughs when he sees someone else smile...especially mom and dad.

Here is Eli sporting some of his many wonderful outfits. He now fits in the custom made onesies compliments of the Tucker clan. These make for great conversation pieces. The nurses in the hospital thought they were very cute and a wonderful idea.

Here is Eli enjoying some blankets that were lovingly made by his Grandma Rice and a family friend. I am sure he will enjoy them for years to come.

Eli is seen here contemplating world peace...or whether to fill his pants again (*smile*).

Eli continues to grow at a rapid rate and no longer fits in his 0-3 month clothing. It has been fun to pull out some of the outfits many of you purchased for him that were too big just a month ago. He gets compliments quite a bit on what a well dressed baby he is...thanks to all of you!

That is all for now but stay tuned for more as Eli continues to grow and change.
