Spring has sprung here in Arkansas as you can tell by the flowers blooming, the bees buzzing, and the streams rising. We have had quite a bit of rain and some of the state has experienced rather severe
flooding. Luckily, the few power outages we endured and the minor flooding we have had has been manageable.
Elijah continues to grow and thrive. He now eats baby food twice a day and we have yet to find a food he doesn't like. One of his new favorites is his Jumperoo.
He loves to jump and jump and jump. His little legs are also long enough for him to play in his exersaucer. He has turned in to quite the thumb and toe sucker. Yes, you heard right, he loves to suck on his big toe.
He is VERY flexible and doesn't mind being bent in half...just for fun, of course.
He is also very much a people person. He loves to put on a show, especially when there is a crowd to watch. He keeps Leigh Ann very busy.He isn't crawling quite yet but it won't be long. He is also teething but no pearly whites have poked their heads through either.

Recently we all went to our church's youth retreat. It was a great weekend and we really enjoyed getting to know the youth from our church better. We are looking forward to a quick trip up north for a friends wedding followed by a trip to the hospital for Jeff's third and final surgery. It may seem weird that we are looking forward to a
surgery but this surgery marks the end of a rather rough chapter in our lives. The end of April also brings our second anniversary. It seems as if we have been married for much longer then that. May also brings both Jeff and Leigh Ann's birthdays. While it has been a rough year
for us all, God is good and the trying times brought us closer to each other and to Him.Here are some more pics of Eli for you to enjoy.
